About Wayne Johnson

I was born in raised in Arkansas and moved to Kansas City in 1972, and recently retired from Sunshine Biscuits/Kellogg after 45 years of service.

After renting for many years, I purchased my first home. Shortly afterwards, I was asked by my former landlord if I would be interested in purchasing the property that I had been renting, then as they say, the rest is history.

After going through the process of purchasing two properties, becoming a real estate agent piqued my interest. A few years afterwards, I decided to obtain a real estate license and became an agent in 2011 in the states of Kansas and Missouri. Having a license in both states has allowed me to obtain a vast knowledge of the KC metro area.

I am a people person and enjoy helping others find their dream homes. Also, I enjoy a variety of activities outside of selling homes, such as fishing, reading, traveling, and being an avid sports fan.

    Very Knowledgeable

    As an investor, I have met a lot of realtors and thought I knew enough about the business to get most things done on my own. When it came to purchasing bank owned properties, I quickly discovered that I would need help. After contacting Champ Realty, I received a call back from Wayne who was able to guide me through the REO process and as they say the rest is history.

    Kept His Promise

    My first experience with a relator was negative one because he never got back in touch with me. I shared my story with Wayne, whom I was working with at that time and did not know that he was a relator. Wayne promised me that if he were my realtor, he would follow through and help me find me my dream home.  Today my wife and I are happy in our home.  Thanks to Champ Realty and Wayne Johnson.
